Vintage Grungy Goodness with Muse & Maker Release 3!

 Hey everyone!

I am so incredibly excited to share my latest creation with you today. If you love deep textures, messy layers, and that classic weathered look, this project is right up your alley. I’ve gone full-on grungy and vintage for this mixed media card!

For this project, I really wanted to dive into the beautiful, tactile textures that make mixed media so much fun. The background is a mix of abstract ink splatters, distressed grids, and vintage ledger script that creates a beautiful, messy backdrop. To frame everything and give it that structured, high-contrast look, I added a heavy dimensional border which completely transforms the composition. In the center, a striking golden butterfly sits over a bold, dark heart, making the whole piece pop.

I had so much fun getting my hands dirty with texture pastes and inks to bring this vintage vibe to life!
