Elegant Cat Card for a Classy Lady – Hunkydory “Classy Cat” Stamp Inspiration

Hello creatives!

Today I’m sharing a fun and elegant card I made using the fabulous “Classy Cat” stamp set from Hunkydory – For the Love of Stamps. I absolutely fell in love with this fancy feline and knew she deserved to be the star of her own project!

I started with a soft grey Scorable cardstock for the background and added some lovely texture using an embossing folder – I really love how the raised dots add depth and interest without overpowering the scene.

The stamps were coloured using alcohol markers, and I chose rich purples and bold yellows to give this kitty a classy, vintage look. To complete the design, I added a few postage stamp elements – and here’s where I had a little creative fun!

The stamped postage frames and numbers weren’t actually from a postal-themed set – they were made using some clever combinations! I used parts of one of the Rainbow stamp sets for the postage circle, and the numbers came from another Hunkydory set I had in my stash. It’s always exciting to find new ways to stretch your stamps and use them in unexpected ways!

Finally, I finished the card with the perfect sentiment: "To a Classy Lady" – a little touch of elegance for a birthday or just because.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Let me know if you’ve ever repurposed stamps in a creative way – I’d love to hear your ideas.
See you soon with more inspiration!
