Layered Winter Foliage – A Touch of Texture & Shine
Hello crafty friends! ❄️
Today I’m sharing two festive cards created with the gorgeous new Layering Winter Foliage stencils from Hunkydory – and I must say, I’m completely in love with how detailed and versatile these stencils are!
I started by building up the design using Prism Inks – layering holly leaves, berries, pine branches and cones to create a rich, full background. To bring even more depth and dimension, I applied texture paste through selected layers of the stencil – the raised elements give the design so much life and interest!
For the finishing touches:
✨ I added Glossy Accents to the berries to make them pop – they look almost real!
✨ A bold sentiment strip with Festive Joy adds a clean but joyful focal point.
The second card uses cooler tones and the same stencil set for a frosty, wintry look – perfect for sending warm wishes on chilly days.
If you're looking for stencils that let you mix colour, texture, and shine effortlessly – this set is a must-try!
Thanks for stopping by – and let me know which version you prefer: traditional red & green or icy blue?
Stay creative,
Natalia 💚🎄
