Peace, Love, Joy – One Stencil, Two Ways

 Hello again crafty friends!

Today I’m sharing a bold and colorful card using the Peace Love Joy 8x8" Emboss-Ink Stencil from Polkadoodles - and I had so much fun using it in two different ways!

For the background, I blended Distress Oxide inks to create a smooth gradient from yellow to pink. Then I used the stencil to lightly layer the words JOY, PEACE, and LOVE across the entire panel, creating a soft, textural base.

To make the sentiment pop, I used the same stencil again, this time with Stencil Butter to add bold, dimensional lettering. Each word was framed and highlighted with its matching icon — a gift, a tree, and a heart - for a playful touch.

I love how versatile this stencil is - perfect for creating layered looks with minimal effort.
