Tropical Escape – Lemurs, Leaves & Layers

 Hi everyone,

Today I’m stepping away from the usual seasonal themes and diving into something a little more wild - a tropical card full of lush greens, playful animals, and jungle textures. All products used are from Hunkydory.

I started by embossing the background using the Jungle Leaves stencil over black cardstock, which gave the whole piece a rich, textured base. Then I stamped the adorable characters from the Sloths & Lemur set and surrounded them with die-cut elements from the Tropical Flowers & Foliage set.

To bring everything together, I added color using Prism Ink in earthy tones and vibrant greens. The contrast between the dark embossed background and the bright focal elements really makes the design pop.

It’s fun to break away from tradition and explore something unexpected - this card definitely brought a smile to my face while making it.
