Blue Poinsettia & Winter Pine Magic

 Hi,

I’ve been loving rich winter tones lately, and this card came together with a mix of cool blues, layered textures, and a little sparkle to celebrate the season.

For the background, I blended Distress Oxide inks to create a soft, frosty base, then added depth with some gentle colouring to bring out the details. The star of the card is the beautiful Dotty Poinsettia Flower, cut in shades of blue and white and layered for dimension.

Around it, I tucked in foliage from the Autumn Winter Pinecones Craft Cutting Die Set - I love how the mix of greens and whites gives it that fresh, snowy feel. A few sequins and beads add just the right amount of festive shimmer.

The sentiment “’Tis the season to be jolly” felt perfect for this one - simple, joyful, and classic.
Let me know if you’ve tried poinsettias in non-traditional colours - I think I’m officially hooked on blue for Christmas!
