A Gentle Heart Card with Chamomile Florals

 Hello everyone,

Some cards feel calm from the very beginning, and this one definitely had that gentle flow. I started with the Shutter Heart in/out dies, because that striped heart makes such a lovely focal point - soft, sweet and perfect for a floral arrangement.

The main cluster is built with the Chamomile Flower dies, coloured with Distress Oxides to give the petals that dreamy, chalky finish I love. Around the flowers, I added leaves from the Leafy Flourish dies, but this time I used them to build the background too - layering them twice, slightly offset, to create a soft shadow effect. It adds such beautiful depth without making the card feel heavy.

To keep everything airy, I blended Distress Oxides behind the heart, just enough to give the design a gentle glow and tie all the colours together.

It’s a peaceful, uplifting card with a lovely mix of texture and softness - the kind of project that feels soothing to make.
