Tuesday Sneak Peek – Muse & Maker 2

 Hello everyone!

Today I’m sharing a little sneak peek from the upcoming Muse & Maker 2 release by Lisa Horton Crafts, and I’m so excited for you to finally see what’s coming. This collection is full of beautiful backgrounds, hearts and the most gorgeous butterflies - the kind that instantly spark ideas the moment you stamp them.

For this card, I wanted something soft, colourful and a little bit playful. I created the background using the ink smooshing technique with Cloud 9 inks, letting the colours blend and move naturally. It’s one of those techniques that always brings a bit of magic - you never get the same result twice, and that’s exactly what I love about it.

Once the background was dry, I added a touch of texture with the Stencil Deck, just enough to give the piece some movement without taking away from the colours. The butterfly from the new Muse & Maker 2 stamp set became the focal point - it has such a lovely shape and detail, and it sits beautifully on top of these soft, inky layers.

This card is just a tiny taste of what Lisa will be sharing during Friday’s live, and I think you’re going to enjoy this release so much. It’s inspiring, fun to play with and full of elements that work beautifully together.
