Hearts & Inky Layers – Muse & Maker 2 Inspiration

 Hello, everyone!

Now that the Muse & Maker 2 release has officially launched, I’m sharing another project I created with this beautiful collection. This time I reached for the heart designs - they’re full of character and work so well with inky, textured backgrounds.

For my background, I used the ink smooshing technique with Cloud 9 inks, letting the colours blend softly and create those natural, organic layers I love so much. Once everything was dry, I added a touch of texture with the Stencil Deck, which gives the whole piece a gentle movement without overwhelming the design.

The hearts from the new stamp set layer beautifully on top of the smooshed background, and I finished the card with a simple sentiment strip to keep the look clean and uplifting.
