Inky Embossed Background with Bouquets & Smiles Die Set

 Hello All,

Today I’m sharing a bright and happy card created with the Layered Leaves 3D embossing folder from Lisa Horton Crafts.

I started by blending the LHC inks directly onto my cardstock to build a colourful, smooth background. Once I had the colours where I wanted them, I ran the panel through the Layered Leaves folder, and that’s when all the dimension and detail really came to life.

After embossing, I went back in with the same inks and lightly blended over the raised areas. This adds even more depth and makes the leaf pattern stand out beautifully.

For the focal point, I used the Bouquets & Smiles Die Set. The layered flowers pop so nicely against the textured background, and the big “Smile” sentiment finishes the card with a cheerful touch.

A simple combination of products, but the texture + colour layering works so well together.
