Textured Kraft Card with January Carnations
Hello everyone!
Today I’m sharing a kraft‑paper card created with the A Year in Bloom 2026 – January: Carnations 3D embossing folder. I love how kraft brings out every tiny detail of this design - the petals, the folds, the soft curves of the carnations.
I started by embossing the kraft panel and adding gentle ink blending to highlight the raised areas. The texture becomes so rich and dimensional on kraft, giving the whole piece a warm, organic feel.
To finish the card, I added a butterfly from the Muse & Maker Collection. It sits beautifully on top of the floral texture and adds a lovely focal point without overpowering the background.
A simple mix of kraft, embossing and ink - but the result feels soft, textured and full of character. Thanks for stopping by, and I hope this inspires your next crafty moment.
