Vintage Peony Birthday Card with the New Cloud 9 Inks

 Hello everyone!

For today’s project, I wanted to try the new Cloud 9 inks on something more detailed, so I reached for the November – Peony Cluster 3D embossing folder. The blend itself was already beautiful, but once embossed, the colours shifted into this soft, vintage floral look that feels both warm and elegant.

The William Morris–inspired tones work perfectly with the deep texture of the folder, and the matte finish of the inks adds a lovely, velvety feel to the whole panel. I kept the sentiment simple to let the flowers stay in focus - sometimes the texture really does all the talking.

I’m excited to explore more combinations with these inks. The full release goes live this Friday at Lisa Horton Crafts, and I can’t wait to share more ideas.
