Layered Holiday Magic with Hunkydory
Hello everyone,
Today I’m sharing a cheerful Christmas card that’s all about texture, layers, and a touch of Nordic charm. I had so much fun creating this one using some of my favourite Hunkydory goodies - and it’s perfect for anyone who loves combining stencils, inks, and embossing for a cozy winter vibe.
✨ The Trees
I started with the Layering Fair Isle Pattern stencil and Prism Inks to build up those sweet little Christmas trees. The layering stencil makes it so easy to add depth and detail - each tree feels like it’s wearing its own festive jumper! I played with shades of green, yellow, and blue to keep things playful and bright.
💡 Tip: Prism Inks blend beautifully through stencils, and they dry quickly too - great for layering without smudging.
🌟 The Background
For the base, I used the Moonstone Embossing Folder - Christmas Lights on a light teal scoreable card. The swirling embossed lights add such a lovely sense of movement and sparkle, even without glitter! It’s subtle but gives the whole card a festive lift.
🖌️ Products Used (All from Hunkydory):
- Layering Fair Isle Pattern Stencil
- Prism Ink Pads
- Moonstone Embossing Folder - Christmas Lights
- Scoreable Cardstock
Let me know what you think! Do you love layering stencils as much as I do? I’d love to hear how you use them in your festive makes.
Thank you for stopping by,
Natalia x
