Pretty Anemone Flowers – Textured Floral Card with Polkadoodles
Welcome, crafty friends!
Today I’m sharing another floral card using the beautiful Pretty Anemone Flowers cutting die from Polkadooles. I love how these layered blooms add instant dimension and elegance - they’re perfect for bold, statement designs.
✂️ What I used:
- Flowers: Pretty Anemone Flowers cutting die - from the Polkadoodles new release
- Background:– Stencil Butter Frosting texture paste in Sugared Pink for soft shimmer and raised texture– Poinsettia Dot 2 layering stencils to build up the pattern– Emboss-Ink Stencil used as an embossing plate to add subtle depth to the black background
- Sentiment: Strip Sentiment Stamp Set - I went with “YOU’RE ONE OF A KIND” for a sweet and personal touch
The contrast between the soft pink texture and the bold black background really makes the flowers pop. I kept the colour palette playful with pinks, purples, and a hint of yellow, and added a thin pink border to tie everything together.
This card was all about layering - both in texture and colour - and I had so much fun experimenting with stencil techniques to create that embossed effect.
Thanks for stopping by 💕
Natalia
