Bold Pink Carnations with Gold Highlights

 Hello everyone!

Today I’m sharing a second take on the A Year in Bloom 2026 – January: Carnations 3D embossing folder - this time in a completely different mood. My previous version was soft and kraft‑based, but today I wanted something bold, vibrant and full of contrast.

I started with a rich pink background and embossed it with the Carnations folder. The texture on this design is so beautiful that it almost finishes the card on its own. To highlight the raised areas, I gently brushed gold pigment over the petals and leaves. This simple step adds instant depth and gives the whole panel a luxurious glow.

To balance the strong colour and metallic shine, I added a bold HUGS sentiment. It anchors the design without taking away from the florals.

Same embossing folder, completely different energy - and that’s exactly why I love working with these textures. One product, endless possibilities.
