Hawthorn Dreams – A Tribute to Nature

 Hello everyone,

Today I’m sharing my May – Hawthorn card from the A Year in Bloom 2026 collection - created in celebration of Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday and all things nature.

I used the Colour Combo of the Month — Pimpernel Rose, Sambourne Lily and Jasmine Saga - together with the new Cloud 9 inks inspired by William Morris. The colours blended softly into a warm, spring palette, and once embossed, the texture brought out every petal and leaf beautifully.

It’s a simple design, but full of light and gentle detail - a lovely way to mark this special weekend dedicated to nature and creativity.
