Rainbow Flower Pattern Building with Lisa Horton Crafts Stencil Deck Vol. 2!

 Hello crafting friends!

I am back with another colorful explosion to show you just how far you can push the incredible new Stencil Deck Vol. 2 from Lisa Horton Crafts. If you love rainbow blends and rich, sparkly textures, this project is bound to get your creative juices flowing!

For this "Birthday Hugs" card, I wanted to showcase how beautifully you can mix the patterns in this deck. I chose two specific stencils from the new series: the gorgeous flower design and the playful teardrop/droplet pattern.

How I Made It:

  1. The Rainbow Base: I started by ink blending a smooth transition of delicious Cloud 9 Matt Blending Inks across the card panel—ranging from warm orange and coral at the bottom, shifting into vibrant purples, deep blues, and ending with a refreshing teal at the top.

  2. Glitter Paste Stenciling: Instead of just ink, I wanted huge dimension! I first layered the flower stencil and then the droplet stencil, applying a beautiful glitter paste over them. The translucent, sparkly paste lets that juicy rainbow spectrum shine through from underneath while catching the light beautifully.

  3. The Finishing Touches: Once dry, I matted the panel and added a crisp black sentiment base featuring the words "Birthday Hugs" accompanied by some coordinating colorful banner tabs. A few scattered pearls completed the look.

The official launch is happening this Friday! I hope this project inspires you to experiment with mixing your mini stencils and adding some glittery paste to your layers.

Be sure to check out my latest video to see that glittery texture catch the light up close! What do you think of this combo? Let me know in the comments below!

Hugs,
